The Metamorphosis of a Dream Landscape

This project is aimed to reveal that although human and nature are physically separated, they remain connected in the metaphysical world.
Usually, the curation and human manipulation of the landscape are for benefits of other humans (ex. Community green space to make people happier and healthier, removal of pollution, etc.). This project is isolating the landscape from human manipulation physically by using height and walls. Therefore, the human factor is removed from the site after the initial setup, while the natural boundaries with reinforcements stop people from invading the landscape and only leaves a small confined path for viewing.
This is then combined with the information and images from the survey of different memories of nature through different media: The accurate drawings with collages; the printout with the projection of video; and the clay model with the “metal ghost”. These together harmonize the separated human and nature in the intangible sphere of memory and dreams.
